Absolutely! You’re encouraged to bring your own document to apply what you learn in a real-world context. To validate your skills, you’ll need to share your work for the review calls — an essential part of the methodology for validating the improvements obtained and getting feedback.

If you’re not comfortable sharing the information you're working on, you can either work on the mock documents provided in the course to build the skills and a complete portfolio, or opt for the private experience to redesign your document with complete confidentiality. 

The mock documents suggested inside the Course cover a wide range of legal documents where you can apply contract and legal design, including insurance policy contracts, delivery clauses, privacy policies, litigation visuals, contract management processes, and more.

The certification process takes approximately 3 months from start to finish.

You can begin working through the digital curriculum right away at your own pace, with flexible study hours. We recommend allocating around 2 to 3 hours per module.

When it’s time for the live sessions, whether in a group setting or private calls, you’ll need to set aside 1.5 hours per week for these calls, over a 12-week period. This hands-on practice will help solidify your learning and ensure you're ready to apply legal design in real-world scenarios.

If you choose the cohort option, the calls are scheduled weekly for 12 weeks on Thursdays at 3 PM GMT (London time), which allows everyone to join all the way from Americas to Asia. Each live call is 90 minutes long with replays.
